We looked at lots of houses in a lot of neighborhoods in Kansas City as we moved, but Roanoke stole our hearts.  I recall the first time we approached the mid-Century Ranch on top of the small hill and stepped inside.  We needed to make a small adjustment to the kitchen, and some fresh coats of paint.  Oh how we loved this house ... our new home ... especially that dining room.  A lot of great meals, great wines, and great friends in that dark blue room with windows on three sides.
